Gecko IT Solutions was established to give businesses in Central Victoria the opportunity to have their IT done the right way and with great customer service. Gecko wants to ensure that customers don’t just feel like a number and that they are part of their team.

Managing Director
Michael Batrouney
Michael’s been working in the IT industry since 1995. Turning his passion into a career, Michael started to climb through the technical ranks in Desktop/Network Support and Staff Management.
Michael believes that Customer Service is the key to any successful business.
In his spare time Michael enjoys spending time with his family. Supporting his local Fire Brigade and following his beloved Carlton Football Club.

General Manager
Sheryl Batrouney
With over 10 years experience in Business Management & Development, Sheryl manages the business and team. Sheryl loves meeting potential clients and assisting them with making sure their IT needs are being met.
In her spare time, Sheryl enjoys watching her beloved Saints, volunteering as a local CFA firefighter and spending time in the veggie garden.

Senior Technical Account Manager
Chris Plant
Chris has been working in the IT industry since 2009 and has been with Gecko since its conception in 2017.
He is passionate about delivering great customer service and strives to build strong relationships with his clients.
Chris also loves testing out new computer hardware and in his spare time he likes to build custom water-cooled computers and spending time with his wife and son.

Senior Technical Account Manager
Rhyan Halliday
Rhyan joined the Gecko Team in November 2021 and has worked in the IT Industry since 2014.
Rhyan loves working with complex IT issues and says the best part of the job is working with a great supportive team.
Rhyan enjoys hiking and adventures in the great outdoors in his spare time. He also loves riding his dirt bike on the weekends.

Technical Account Manager
Dylan Verbeeten
Dylan has been working in the IT industry since 2011 and made the ‘tree-change’ from Melbourne to join the Gecko Team in February 2024.
Dylan loves collaborating with the team and working on new technologies that can benefit Gecko and our clients.
In his spare time, Dylan likes to work on cars, water ski and play computer games. He loves watching the Aussies play cricket and is a passionate Carlton Blues supporter.

Technical Account Manager
Anthony Bianco
Anthony has been working in the IT industry since 2003 and has made the ‘tree-change’ from Melbourne to join the Gecko Team in October 2024.
Anthony enjoys working with a supportive team and is passionate about providing great customer service.
In his spare time he enjoys running, cycling and spending time with his family.

Service Technician
Darren Tonn
Darren joined the Gecko Team with a strong passion for technology and over 10 years of experience in customer service and technical support from the managed print services industry. He values teamwork and brings a customer-focused mindset. In his spare time, he enjoys PC gaming, basketball, cricket, BBQ smoking, and spending time with his partner and their dog, Arlo.

Office Assistant
Maddy Batrouney
With over five years of experience in retail and hospitality, Maddy brings a strong background in customer service and a genuine passion for connecting with people to her role at Gecko. As our Office Assistant, she ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes while greeting clients with warmth and professionalism. Outside of work, Maddy is pursuing her studies in Interior Design, where her creativity and eye for detail continue to shine.
